About This Site

Do you love orchids? Do you grow them – in your garden, in your greenhouse, or on your window sills? We do, and we’d love to share with you some of the many photos we’ve taken of our own orchids and those we’ve seen displayed and for sale at shows and orchid society meetings. Where possible we will tell you about the orchids we grow, and how we grow them, and we will try to provide you with information about the ones we don’t grow.

Photos and Culture

You can see many photos of orchids in our Gallery and cultural information on our Culture pages. Where we have cultural information we hope to be able to link the Gallery photos through to its culture page.

Disclaimer

Please Note: This site is for us to share our photos along with some information we have gleaned over the years. The information is what works for us, if we grow it, or the generally accepted cultural method if we don’t. The methods may not work for you and your specific situation, so please don’t blame us if you follow them and they don’t.

Your culture and conditions will never be the same as that of anyone else, so any cultural information should only be used as a guide, and be adapted to suit you. Where you grow your plants, how much time you have to devote to their care, and many other factors, will need to be taken into account, along with how they grow in nature. Only after considering all these things can you decide on the cultural methods that best suit you and your plants.
